There is a robust exchange between government departments and media organizations of China and Africa, focusing on talent training, regular mutual visits of working groups and production teams, enhancing exchanges among young people, and promoting practical cooperation projects. These efforts significantly enhance mutual understanding between the people of China and Africa.

(I) Talent Training to Promote Industry Exchange and Cooperation
2023年,中国国家主席习近平在中非领导人对话会上提出“中非人才培养合作计划”,指出中方将落实好对非媒体从业人员研修项目,为非洲国家培训新闻广电和旅游领域高端人才,支持非洲广电媒体能力建设。
In 2023, Chinese President Xi Jinping proposed the China-Africa Talent Training Cooperation Plan at the China-Africa Leaders’ Dialogue, which outlined China's commitment to implementing training programs for African media professionals, nurturing high-end talent in journalism, broadcasting, and tourism, and supporting capacity building in African broadcasting media.
中国国家广播电视总局积极为非洲国家举办广播电视媒体研讨班。十年来,共有3100余位非洲国家媒体领域官员、记者和技术骨干参与总局研修学院、中广公司举办的交流研讨项目。
The National Radio and Television Administration (NRTA) of China has been actively organizing radio and television media seminars for African countries. Over the past decade, more than 3,100 officials, journalists, and technical experts from African media have participated in exchange and seminar projects organized by the NRTA's Research and Training Institute and China Radio, Film & Television (CRTV).

From 2022 to 2024, CMG AFRICA held three consecutive sessions of the Meet You China-Africa Youth Short Video Contest, providing a platform for Chinese and African youth to break down cultural barriers, enhance mutual understanding, and build mutual trust.
互联网平台上有许多中非文化交流青年创作者,如来自非洲乌干达、现居中国浙江的美食主播“Rose”(抖音粉丝量1464万,视频数624个,观看量188亿,获赞量3亿);走过23个非洲国家、分享非洲文化的中国创作者“小钟Johnny”(bilibili粉丝量204.7万,视频数412个,观看量3.9亿,获赞量1563万)等。
There are many young creators engaged in China-Africa cultural exchanges on internet platforms. Notable examples include Rose, a food vlogger from Uganda now living in Zhejiang, China (with 14.64 million followers on Douyin, the Chinese version of Tiktok, 624 videos, 18.8 billion views, and 300 million likes); and Johnny, a Chinese creator who has traveled to 23 African countries sharing African culture (with 2.047 million followers on Bilibili, 412 videos, 390 million views, and 15.63 million likes).
